Kenneth Clarke MP instinctive self-satisfied anti-democrat. A classic corporatist fascist. As a student in Cambridge in the 1950s he invited the former leader of the British Union of Fascists and founder of the journal The European, Sir Oswald Mosley, to speak. Fellow student Tory, Michael Howard, resigned in protest! Clarke believes in the abolition of the Pound, the Bank of England, the Treasury and turning the British Parliament into a “local assembly” (as he once said to Norman Lamont). On 27th February 2008 On the Daily Politics, Clark admitted that although he was against a referendum, Gordon Brown and the Lib/Dems stupidly promised one. He also said that there was nothing different between the wording of the Constitution and the Lisbon Treaty and it was wrong for Gordon Brown to say there was.

Nick Clegg MEP East Midlands, a former Commission civil servant, whose wife works for the Commission. The Common Purpose Charitable Trust runs ‘Your Turn’. Its sponsors include the BBC, 7 Government Departments several companies and councils. A classic corporatist group.

Michael Connarty MP (Labour) Chairman of the Commons European Scrutiny Committee, said (January 2008) that compared to the Maastricht Treaty “the Lisbon Treaty represents a more significant point in our relationship with Europe”, and it is a “tipping point” for Britain’s national sovereignty and “will take the centre of power away from this Parliament to Brussels. There is no doubt about that.” He also added that under the Treaty “the role of national Parliaments will be massively diminished.”

Michael Connor, former President Alstom UK, Council member Britain in Europe

Richard Corbett MEP, the Labour MEPs spokesman on EU constitutional affairs, attacked Gordon Brown for his criticism of the draft European Constitution. Corbett described Brown’s points as “red herrings”. 9/11/03. Council member Britain in Europe (so “successful” that it has gone into hibernation!) Corbett is one of those old EU federalists having lost his MEP seat in 2009, he now works for EU President Herman Van Rompuy. On Newsnight June 23rd 2011 the tried to explain “actually the euro as a whole is strong.”

Corbett, is a strong contender for the not so flattering prize of “the worst eurozone prediction ever” (and keep in mind that the competition is pretty tough). In 2009, Corbett kindly informed readers of the Bradford Telegraph that “The euro has been a rock of stability, as illustrated by the contrasting fortunes of Iceland and Ireland. Joining the single currency would be a major step.”

Right Richard. Fast forward to 2011.
Iceland’s borrowing costs (10yr bonds): 2.9%
Ireland’s borrowing costs (10yr bonds): 12.3%

David Curry MP – One of Kenneth Clarke’s greatest supporters – ie supports the Euro, the European Constitution and the wholesale destruction of the British constitution. At a public meeting in Newcastle he said in a tone which shocked the audience “Its power – that is what Europe is all about – power”. Council member Britain in Europe

Margaret Daly former MEP and board member of The European Movement

Ron Davies (ex Labour MP – resigned as minister – sex scandal. Also ex Member of Welsh Assembly)

Quentin Davies MP (When lunching at public expense in Brussels sent back a £55 bottle of wine “the bouquet is not quite right”)

William Davis, Chairman, Headway Publishing Limited, Council member Britain in Europe

Sir Roy Denman deceased, former EU “Ambassador” (thought Britain should have made peace with Hitler)

The Directorate for European Operations at the Open University

Alan Donnelly, former Leader, European Parliamentary Labour Party, Council member Britain in Europe

Brendan Donnelly Director of the Federal Trust (a charity!!!) ex Cons MEP (“Opposition to the Euro is politically and economically unwise”)

Andrew Duff MEP, Liberal Democrat, Member of The Federal Trust. Said that the UK should not be allowed to leave the EU without the EU’s permission! Several European politicians launched a campaign to save the draft EU Constitution which they fear is being eroded by member states, including Andrew Duff.

Andrew Duff flatly denied that Article 52 of the European Charter of Fundamental Rights existed. In correspondence his mentor Graham Watson MEP (another fanatical eurofederalist) then claimed that the words do not mean what they say! Article 52 states that,

“…limitations (on the exercise of the rights and freedoms recognised by this Charter) may be made only if they are necessary and genuinely meet objectives of general interest being pursued by the Union…” In other words the EU and its Charter grants and takes away your “rights” in the same movement! (the same is true of the Death penalty! Most countries have abolished the Death penalty but the EU specifically allows them through its Charter which is part of the Lisbon Treatyto bring it back!!)

The report by the House of Commons EU Scrutiny Committee quotes Andrew Duff MEP, who told the Committee: “there is a danger that, in assessing the Treaty of Lisbon, national parliaments become obsessed by the early warning mechanism on subsidiarity. It was understood by those of us involved in its drafting and, then re-drafting that the mechanism, although a necessary addition to the system of governance of the Union, was not really intended to be used. It is, in Bagehot’s terms, more a dignified part of the European constitutional settlement than an efficient one.”

While the Lisbon Treaty has still not been ratified, Andrew Duff MEP, is already trying to introduce changes in it, and establish the election of “European MEPs” instead of national MEPs in elections from 2014 onwards. Andrew Duff is the lib-dim MEP for East Anglia. When asked to introduce himself he refuses to say he is British. He describes himself as a European federalist. Just as well he was not born two centuries or so ago, when treason was still taken seriously. In Prague recently with a European parliamentary delegation, Mr Duff insulted the Czech Republic’s president, Vaclav Klaus, in a public meeting.

Hugh Dykes, ex MP, now Lord Dykes, Chairman, the (eurofederalist) European Atlantic Group

James Dyson enthusiastically advocates the abolition of Sterling, the Bank of England, the Chancellor of the Exchequer and the First Lord of the Treasury (the PM) in favour of the Euro BUT MOVED HIS MANUFACTURING BUSINESS TO THE FAR EAST, rather than supporting the new European Country that he so admires. He expects to sell this products in Britain at British prices however. Avoid Dyson washing machines, vacuum cleaners and other products in favour of genuine far east companies which manufacture in Britain – like LG etc.

James Elles, Tory MEP. Believes Conservatives in the European Parliament should be part of the fanatically eurofederalist EPP group. Says anyone who believs in British self government should “leave the party and join UKIP”.

Lord Evans of Watford, Council member Britain in Europe

Nigel Evans MP, eurofederalist, member of Parliamentary Group for World Government. Lost Monmouth for the Tories and then lost Ribble Valley. Then won it the next time round. Surprising that such a loser and anti democrat can get chance after chance! One of the most prodigious travellers around the world at taxpayers expense.

Ruth Evans, former Director, National Consumer Council, Council member Britain in Europe

Dr Nigel Forman Non-Executive Director, HFC Bank plc., Advisory Councillor The Federal Trust

Lord Forte Patron of The Federal Trust

Rt Hon George Foulkes MP, Advisory Board member Britain in Europe

George Galloway, Respect Party’s only MP. On his radio show every weekend – on Talk Sport – he very much favours the UK being in the EU even though years ago he did not want the UK to be in the EEC! No wonder someone who eulogises about Fidel Castro (who praises the Euro in order to sink the Dollar) wants to surrender to the EU.

Lord Garel-Jones, (Tristan) former Minister for Europe, Council member Britain in Europe, Eurofanatic too weak a word!

Brian Garrett, Chair, European Movement Northern Ireland, Consultant, Council member Britain in Europe

Elliott Duffy Garrett, Council member Britain in Europe

Julia Gash, Managing Director, Gash, Council member Britain in Europe

General Utilities

Sir Christopher Gent, Chief Exec Vodaphone. Advocates abolition of the Pound so that companies can avoid exchange rate fluctuations and yet stated in his own company accounts:
“Movements in exchange rates had no material impact….in any of the three years ended March 2003” (All exchange rate risks can in any case be covered at very little cost by companies and individuals and although circa 40% of UK trade is with the Eurozone countries only 20% is traded in Euros!)

David Gibson CB, former Deputy Secretary, Northern Ireland Civil Service, Council member Britain in Europe

Ram Gidoomal, Managing Director, Winning Communication, Council member Britain in Europe

Cheryl Gillan MP,europhile, Member of Parliamentary Group for World Government. Promoted far above her pay grade and embarassingly became Shadow Secretary of State for Wales – and then even more embarassingly the Secretary of State for Wales!!

Charles Grant, Director, Centre for European Reform, Council member Britain in Europe

Damien Green Tory MP

Pauline Green ex-MEP (former leader of Labour MEPs, close to now sacked Jacques Santer, President of the European Commission. Resisted taking action against the Commission despite van Buitenen evidence of corruption). Resigned in 1999 and was replaced by next on the party list, a candidate who had been specifically rejected by the electorate. Chief Executive Co-operative Union Ltd, Former policewoman., Council member Britain in Europe

Baroness Sally Greengross of Notting Hill Former Director General Age Concern England, Advisory Councillor The Federal Trust, ‘Vice Chair’ Britain in Europe

John Gummer MP (Now Lord Deben) Roman Catholic convert and principal actor in the sacking of Adrian Hilton, the Tory candidate for Slough just before the 2005 General Election, because the latter had written books critical of The Vatican’s promotion of the European superstate. A corporatist rather than a Conservative, best summed up not only in his eurofederalist fanaticism but in his becoming chairman of a company called Valpak which guides companies through the EU recycling rules which Gummer himself introduced when he was Environment Minister. Like Kenneth Clarke he has more in common with New Labour and the Lib Dems than with Conservatives.

“I remember a young, enthusiastic John Selwyn Gummer aka Lord Deben in 1972. He came to address our corn trade confidence and told us how wonderful things were going to be for us once we were within the tariff barrier of the EEC. Our exports to Europe would boom then, he said. He also told us that the Commonwealth countries no longer wanted to trade with us. This was a thumping great lie. Our family firm has bought thousands of tons of excellent, unsubsidised milk power from New Zealand over the years and would be cut off from that happy trading relationship at the stroke of midnight on December 31 1972. The New Zealanders, who had never let us down, did not like losing their customer any more than we liked being compelled to buy EEC milk powder. The man was a liar then and has thrived on it all his life.” Edward Spalton

Carl Hadley, Council member Britain in Europe

Richard Hawkes, Director, Sense International, Council member Britain in Europe

Diane Hayter, Director of Corporate Affairs, Wellcome Trust, Council member Britain in Europe

Professor Nigel Healey, Dean of the Business School and Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Manchester Metropolitan University, Council member Britain in Europe

Sir Edward Heath, deceased, ex-MP ex-PM. Lied to House of Commons and to British people, concealed for 30 years the Lord Kilmuir report on the destruction of British sovereignty which joining the EEC would mean. Probably the greatest traitor in British history.

Christopher Heaton Harris MP Edward Spalton writes:
I met Heaton Harris during the 1999 EU parliament election campaign, when I was standing for UKIP. He took me on one side and berated me for standing because “it could cost us a seat”. I said that was the idea but that I would willingly withdraw my candidacy and campaign for him, if he said it was his objective to leave the EU. He could not agree to that. More recently he was the MP who torpedoed the motion by Mark Reckless MP which would have stopped the first bail out of the euro.

Sir Peter Heap, Chairman, Brazilian Chamber of Commerce in the UK, former Ambassador to Brazil, Council member Britain in Europe

Mark Hendrick MP, Council member Britain in Europe

Cllr Dr Ruth Henig, Lancashire County Council, Council member Britain in Europe

Brian Howlett Accounts and Office Management, The Federal Trust

Robert Hughes ex-MP

Chris Huhne MEP, Council member Britain in Europe. Failed candidate for leadership of the Liberal Democrat Party. The LibDems passed a resolution with Huhne’s support at their conference to hold a referendum on the EU Constitution. Having announced his candidature for the Liberal Democrat leadership (for the second time) in October 2007 Huhne went back on this commitment on the Andrew Neill This Week late night show. He also repeatedly lied when he denied that the Government’s so called “red lines” had been in the original Constitution. They were and therefore the Constitution has NOT changed and therefore a referendum is necessary.

John Hume former MP and MEP. He promotes Euro Federalism within Northern Ireland and has a long pedigree of anti Britishness.

David Hunt ex-MP

Lord Hurd Douglas – ex-Foreign Minister. “This is hardly a battleground of principle – which is a relief to those of us who were never enthusiastic about the single currency” – but he signed the Maastricht Treaty on Economic and Monetary Union which imposed it on Europe, saying after signature “We had better go away and read it”. It was Hurd who personally advised NatWest Markets not to invest in rail privatisation. Several bidders had to refinance at the last minute but some did not have time to (e.g. Norfolk Southern US consortium who lost millions in aborted bid costs). In fact, it was terrible advice and cost the bank hundreds of millions. Major Government stand was not to proceed with Maastricht ratification if Denmark voted NO. But Hurd went to Denmark and said the opposite, thus fatally undermining the Danish NO campaign. While Major was saying that Maastricht would get powers back Hurd, his Foreign Secretary, admitted it would not!

Will Hutton, Chief Executive, The Industrial Society, Council member Britain in Europe

Lord Inglewood MEP, Council member Britain in Europe

George Irvin, Assoc. Professor of Economics at ISS, The Hague and former economic advisor on aid policy to the European Commission. After Gordon Brown’s damning rejection of the Euro – even failing 4 of his (never mind a democrat’s) five tests, a classic Brussels Eurofascist, George Irvin, claimed the opposite:
“By Gordon Brown’s Mansion House criteria, the economic barriers to joining the Eurozone are falling away”.

Michael Jack MP

Caroline Jackson MEP One of the worst of the eurofanatics in the Tory Party. Conservative Party environment spokesperson and a member of the European parliament’s environment consumer protection and public health committee. Conflicts of interests arose because of her position on the board of car company Peugeot Talbot and as paid consultant to food giant Mars and a paid advisor to Shanks, an independent waste company. When in government I would support a referendum but it would have to be a referendum along the lines of the LibDem idea of ‘in or out’ of the EU and all parties would have to accept to be bound by the decision for at least ten years. Confuses, like most fascists, sovereignty with power. June 2004 after growing anti EU sentiment and very low electoral turn-out: “Let the National Politicians be honest – that nearly 70% of the laws they pass now start in Brussels”)

Watson flatly denied that Article 52 of the European Charter of Fundamental Rights existed. In correspondence he then claimed that the words do not mean what they say! Article 52 states that,
