The letter below was received by the Free Nations website. It shows that there is no shame among those many thousands of Germans who still praise Hitler – and try to pretend that “Hitler did not want to conquer Europe”. This correspondent is typical of those who today vote NPD (The German National Party) of whom there are not many as a percentage of the population.
But there are of course many thousands in positions of actual political power in Germany today who are daily carrying out roughly the same programme as the euro-fascist German/Vichy French/Italian axis of the second world war, and are far too careful to express themselves as honestly as our correspondent.
However we must be careful to distinguish between fascism and nationalism (see the Free Nations article “Who are the Real Fascists in Europe?” – Breaking News, 20th March 2003). Although they do have much in common a nationalist is genuinely interested in sovereignty and hence in at least the basic building block of democracy. A fascist is contemptuous of national solidarity and sovereignty because they support democracy and would undermine the supranational hegemony of the corporatist/socialist ideal.
Many of those extremists who oppose the EU attack “internationalism” (see below) from an anti-Semitic (not the same as anti-Israeli) viewpoint. This is of course easily confused with opposition to Supranationalism – the view of the Free Nations website which promotes democratic nationism in opposition to the supranational power of the EU or the UN or any other institution which is not directly accountable to national electorates (i.e. is not democratic). We do this not because we hate any particular group or race which has taken advantage in the past of the power of such supranational organisations. We do so because supranational institutions are always prey to corporate (in the sense of corpus i.e. rule by collective) control and because democracy is impossible without a cohesive society and only (genuine) nation states provide the homogeneity required for minorities to accept the will of majorities. This process is also helped by the reduction of the State to its purely emancipating functions (see my book The Emancipated Society published in 1988!), the removal of the politicized State from intimate involvement in business and market place and a belief in free trade between sovereign nations. Statists, extreme nationalists and fascists believe in the opposite of these principles and such people dominate the political classes of France, Germany, Belgium and probably (tragically) today’s Russia.
We are not nationalists since nationalism easily leads to racial hatred and imperialist power and the break up of what would otherwise be free nation states (i.e. states which contain more than one ethnic nation). Such states – like the UK, Switzerland, Yugoslavia have been targeted and are being broken up – by the corporatist, imperialist, supranational European Union, driven by the power of Germany which twice sought to do the same thing by war in the 20th century and France which tried to do the same thing under Napoleon.
It was the Anglo-Saxon nations – the UK and USA, supported by anti-fascist nations like Norway, Switzerland, Yugoslavia etc. – which fought that evil in the 20th century and which today stand against the Franco-German Euro-State (and their natural allies like Saddam Hussein!) We are aware of the differences between different national socialisms, different dictators and different national political characteristics but the term fascism is used by us to describe that which unites in extreme nationalism, corporatism, supranationalism and authoritarian socialism the German/Vichy France/Italian axis of the 1940s and the leading voices in the Franco-German EU of today. They also exhibit as does the letter below, anti-American prejudice.
Now please read the letter from our Hitlerite correspondent:
Dear Sirs,
I was recommended your website and I noticed some grave mistakes you make in your ideas, Firstly, You cannot distinguish between NATIONAL-Socialism and INTERNATIONAL-Socialism.
Secondly…..Germany in 2003, is STILL an occupied country and operates under the control of the Allies of 1945, with more than 300.000 US troops still in Germany, (plus others as well) there was a Cease fire and Surrender signed in 1945 but never a Peace treaty…Germany is NOT a Free country, we even had to go cap in hand to the US and Russia to get unification, so how can you blame Germany for the EU?
Thirdly …Adolf Hitler was a Nationalist, he had no plans for the domination of Europe and if you were capable of getting past the Allied propaganda pushed down our throats for the past 70 odd years you would notice that to be true. Hitler did NOT want war with Gt. Britain or France or Russia but if you read the TRUE History of what happened you will notice that Germany was encircled and was forced into a war it did not want. MARXISM or BOLSHEVISM on the other hand (Hitler’s greatest enemy) DID have plans to dominate Europe. Schröder btw IS a Marxist, so is Joshka Fischer….but SO IS the EU. Even the functionaries there are called Commissars.
Hitler never had Commissars, he had Gauleiters….there are no Gauleiters in the EU.
Another thing Hitler was a NATIONAL-SOCIALIST it was the ITALIANS that were Fascists….Fascia (as in working together). National-Socialism and Fascism are very different, if you know that then you’d better start again.
So read the Party programme of the National-Socialists and you will see that its greatest enemy is rampant Internationalism. If you cannot distinguish between old Allied propaganda and the Truth then you are not in a position to change anything……Hanging a Nazi flag on everything you don’t like smacks of Neo-Zionism, by doing that you are merely pointing readers in the wrong direction while the Bolshevists get on with their work in the EU. We Germans were NOT asked whether we wanted the EU or the damned EURO but it was forced on us by no less a Power than the USA.
WAKE UP and HELP FREE GERMANY from the Internationalists,
Sincerely, Paul, Hamburg Germany
