As John Ward of “The Slog” reports “there are already some bizarre signs of media censorship.” You will find this article at NBC has been removed:

The first casualty of war is truth. And this is a war, a very grave economic war brought about by the same fascist powers who started the last one and who thought they could frame the following peace to bring about by supranational constitutional agreements and a currency what war had failed to achieve: a corporatist fascist Euro-State dominated by Germany, undoing the territorial settlements of the First and Second World wars.
From all over the Europe there are signs of massive capital flight from the Eurozone as free men (and the funds managed by those with a fiduciary duty to you and me) flee German Europe. The Financial Times (one of the architects of this corporatist super-state!) notes that there is a heightened demand for $100 bills as ordinary Europeans flee their own currency.
Headless chicken syndrome has hit the EU elitists harder than usual with one Commissar saying Cyprus is a model of how to rob other bank depositors, then contradicting himself – then withdrawing his contradiction. Then another Commissar says Cyprus was a one off but then says the principle of pursuing all creditors including depositors is right. I am sure the world is confident that the fate of 350m Europeans is in good hands!
The Spanish Authorities have just written to every ex patriate who is resident for tax in Spain demanding that they list all their assets held OUTSIDE Spain. They have until 29th April to comply with this demand. The politicians’ excuse (as with the Cyprus crime) is “anti money laundering measures”.
The Spanish State is bankrupt with 5 million unemployed, collapsing banks, due to massive speculation in property, millions of empty homes, no economic growth and a suicidal commitment to remaining within the Euro which is destroying them economically and politically. Naturally they are looking around for some suckers whose wealth they can milk. Foreigners in Spain are an obvious target. After all if they can buy a house in Spain they must have even more wealth outside the country! (This is nonsense of course but you know the way politicians think!).
Even the targeting of ex patriates is against all EU law and the European Convention on Human Rights – you would think. But we know that these farcical bits of paper waved in the face of the peoples of Europe don’t seem to bother the Governments of Europe. No wonder. When we look at them in detail they are at best useless and mostly viciously oppressive. (This is no surprise since all the “human rights” in the Soviet Communist constitution did not prevent the most evil persecutions).
We know that national governments under the EU rules can just opt out of laws if it is a matter of “vital national interest”. We know that while stopping the death penalty within member States the EU nevertheless re-introduced the possibility of the death penalty under certain circumstances! In this Spanish case the European Convention on Human Rights farcically permits mass illegality as regards individuals’ property rights. Under Protocols, Article 1 we find:
‘Every natural or legal person is entitled to the peaceful enjoyment of his possessions. No one shall be deprived of his possessions except in the public interest and subject to the conditions provided for by law and by the general principles of international law. The preceding provisions shall not, however, in any way impair the right of a State to enforce such laws as it deems necessary to control the use of property in accordance with the general interest or to secure the payment of taxes or other contributions or penalties.’
The second sentence, combined with the first’s reference to “general principles of international law”, mean that countries can happily be as totalitarian and fascist as they like, ignoring all principles of law as regards property rights. Since the only thing that human beings can objectively establish on this earth as their own is various forms of property (physical, monetary, personal) then one could argue that these fascists can take everything which life represents “in the public interest” (by which they mean the State’s interest).
Maybe that is what is about to happen to any (non Spaniard) foolish enough to be tax resident in Spain – or in any Eurozone country!
But we know that the whole political and banking establishments are thinking in the same way and they are increasingly looking to loot the property of the people in order to save the wealth of the States and their banks. This is precisely what happened in Cyprus when those who had not caused the crisis were robbed to finance the EU, the Germans, the Banks and the politicians who had caused it.
