“I’m here in Turkey to show British solidarity with you, the Turkish people, because when you need our support we will always be there for you. And because our friendship matters now more than ever.” Thus the British Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab (father Jewish) praises Turkey led by a virulent anti semitic Islamist whose country defines “Christianisation” as a crime. President Erdogan recently said:
“I urge all my coreligionist families in Europe to have at least five children each! ….. The more people we have in Europe the more power we will have. You are the future of Europe!”
Although Turkey is a member of NATO, Erdogan daily regrets the end of the Ottoman Empire, threatens the Greek islands, infiltrates State paid Imams into European countries, persecutes Christians and heads a dictatorial regime with a Nazi interpretation of “leadership” described by the Mayor of Ankara Melih Gokcek as:
“The concept of a leader and absolute obedience to this leader exists in our faith, in our state tradition.”
Erdogan’s Turkey also funds Islamist terrorists in Africa. On a recent episode of bi’l waraqa wa’l qalam (“With Paper and Pen”), an Egyptian news program that airs on TenTV, its host, Nasha’t al-Deyhi, said:
Leaked information confirms that Turkey ……supports terrorists — including with weapons. ……This time, however, not in Syria … Today’s leak confirms without doubt that Erdogan, his state, his government, and his party are transferring weapons from Turkey to — this is a shock, to where you may ask — to Nigeria; and to whom? — to the Boko Haram organization.
Islamic radicals are slaughtering Christians in Nigeria – 350 Christians have been killed in the last two months alone. This included the beheading of Christian Pastor Lawan Andimi by the Islamic militia Boko Haram, and the murder of two innocent Christian girls just days later by Muslim radicals. The United States has placed Nigeria on a Special Watch List for “severe violations of religious freedom.”
And with this Islamist funding regime the British Government seeks a trade agreement and agreed that the EU should pay Turkey billions of Euros in return for Erdogan NOT sending Syrian refugees to Europe – an agreement which he has now broken, using tens of thousands of Syrian refugees (many of them had in fact jobs in Turkey!) to batter down the borders of Greece – and hence the EU. Turkey’s actions on that border amount to an invasion by proxy – ironically partly funded by the EU itself! https://www.breitbart.com/europe/2020/03/10/watch-eu-funded-turkish-armoured-vehicle-rips-down-greek-border-fence/
Part of the original bribe paid to Erdogan was an agreement to allow Visa Free travel by Turks to the EU – which explains the sudden proliferation of Turkish barbers in Britain!
The Johnson Government seriously promoted the bid for British Steel by the pension fund of the Turkish army – fortunately it failed. And when European governments suspended arms exports to Turkey the UK initially questioned a communiqué “condemning” Turkey for its incursion into Syria but eventually agreed after insisting on describing Turkey’s status as a “key partner” of the EU! (This is despite, as a member of NATO, buying the Russian S-400 anti missile defence system!)
BORIS TURKISH ANTECEDENTS AND UK TURKEY POLICY?
This catalogue of foreign policy madness can only have three explanations: that Turkey is too strong for us and we must kowtow to Erdogan’s wishes or that Boris Johnson’s Turkish family background is influencing British foreign policy or that no matter how often this Turkish NATO ally kicks us in the teeth we cannot afford to let them defect to Russian influence. This latter is a self fulfilling paranoia brought on by the UK and NATO by their own Russophobic aggression over recent decades. Putin is all too aware of the Turkish threat and “keeps Erdogan close” – as a wise man would.
But the dangers of Turkey are beginning to dawn on Washington at least who seem to be reducing their nuclear weaponry at the Incerlik Air base in Turkey. Reports indicated that in late February US nuclear bombs were being transported to Europe, in particular Germany and Poland.
But what of Boris himself? His great grandfather was a Turk, Ali Kemal Bey, a newspaper editor, politician and briefly Turkish Minister of the Interior. He married an Anglo Swiss woman Winifred Brun in London in 1903. Kemal was prominent in opposition circles in Turkey and in 1909 he fled to England where Boris Johnson’s grandfather was born in Bournemouth. He returned to Turkey, marrying a second time.
He became known in Turkey for condemning the massacres of Armenians during the first world war and called for the prosecution of the perpetrators. In an ironic historical comparison he condemned the Government for “opening the doors of the prisons” – which is precisely what Erdogan has apparently done today, guiding them towards the Greek border!
For his support of Armenians and opposition to Turkish nationalists (he had promoted British protectorate status for Turkey) Kemal was charged with treason and on his way to Ankara under arrest he was murdered. Ironically his son by his second wife Saiha (Zeki Kuneralp) was attacked by an Armenian gunman and his wife and her brother were killed in Madrid in 1978.
If there is any residual sympathy for Turkey in Boris Johnson’s foreign policy it is entirely unjustified since the Turks his great grandfather opposed and who murdered him had most in common with the extreme nationalism and imperialism of the present regime – the regime which Dominic Raab describes as “our friends”!
TURKEY’S ISLAMIC WAR AGAINST EUROPE
Erdogan seeks the growing dominance of Islam in Europe and the return of the Ottoman Empire. As one of his political allies has said:
“Those who think that we have erased from our hearts the lands from which we withdrew in tears a hundred years ago are wrong. We say at every opportunity we have that Syria, Iraq and other places in the geography [map] in our hearts are no different from our own homeland.”
In Germany the state of North Rhine-Westphalia once had 114 prison imams, but now has only 25 – after German authorities discovered that 97 imams were Turkish civil servants whose salaries were paid for by the Turkish government. Turkey had refused to allow the imams to be interviewed by German officials. In 2018 Erdogan, after Austria closed some jihadist mosques, warned of a
“war between the cross and the crescent”
Turkey has given support to Albanian Muslims in both Kosovo, where Serbs and Jews were driven out, and Macedonia (where the Kosovo tragedy of Islamic demographic and military conquest is being mimicked). Christian churches have been burned and the Muslim population has risen from 13% to 30% since the 1960s
While the West has been fighting the Islamic State in the Middle East President Erdogan’s son Bilal made massive profits from buying oil from ISIS controlled parts of Syria – until Russia in 2015 attacked the convoys of tankers taking that oil to Turkey!
TURKEY DEFINES “CHRISTIANISATION” AS A CRIME
While the left in Briton and America are duped into attacking “Islamophobia” (a fear perfectly justified by the European wide burning of churches, the rape and sexual abuse of “infidel” children and the bombings and murders in London, Madrid, Paris, Brussels and elsewhere) “NATO ally” Turkey has created a crime of “Christianisation’!
In 2018 American Pastor Andrew Brunson was charged with “Christianization” – and could have spent the rest of his life behind bars for his faith. The prosecutor demanded 35 years in prison, calling Pastor Brunson a terrorist for living his Christian faith, including through “humanitarian aid, education, and training.”
Where are the condemnations of religious bigotry by the British left? Why is the labour Party – having just accused the former head of the Equality and Human Rights Commission, Trevor Phillips, of “Islamophobia” – not attacking Turkey for criminalising Christianity?
In 2016 Turkey nationalised 6 churches in Diyarbakir in the name of “preservation” and
the Turkish army led the attack on the Christian village of Kessab in March 2014. Turkish helicopters strafed homes and farms. Most fled. 88 mainly elderly who could not flee were massacred, 13 of them beheaded. Syrian government troops re-took it in June 2014.
A witness was Irish peace activist, Dr Declan Hayes. He managed to reach Kessab in the days following its recapture by the Syrian army. Hayes interviewed survivors.
I interviewed the man whose son was slain in front of his eyes. The jihadists left the young man’s bloodied corpse lying on the ground for three days outside the family home just to torment his parents.
TURKISH AGGRESSION IN THE MEDITERRANEAN
An agreement recently signed between Erdogan and Libya fixed their exclusive economic zones and thus cut the mediterranean into two, reducing the exclusive economic zone of Greece in Crete and in the Aegean islands.
Greek shipping and coastal vessels have been continually harassed by Turkish boast and aircraft. A former Greek ambassador tells me that on one day alone in February this year:
Only yesterday we had 100 violations of our airspace, harassments of Greek fishing boats in our waters by the Turkish coast guard and insistence by Ankara that the islands do not have their own continental shelf.
This month Turkey has sent 18,000 Syrian “refugees” to the Greek border. The Government told them that “The border is open” but they did not say which border! The Greek side was closed! Erdogan threatened to send another 30,000. Turkish soldiers have been seen handing the migrants wire cutters and tear gas canisters!
Erdogan’s aggression against Europe (internally through Islamisation and externally through Islamic migration across borders) is blatant. He recently said:
“Greece, these people aren’t going to stay with you. They will go on to another European country. Why are you so worried? Greece, open your gates and free yourself of this burden.”
TURKEY IN AMERICA
At a recent summit in Istanbul Erdogan boasted that it was not Christopher Columbus who discovered America but Muslims – in 1178! In fact it is probable that the Vikings got there a lot earlier than that!
But this speech was at a summit attended by 76 Islamic leaders from 40 countries, with Latin America represented by Brazil, Venezuela, Argentina, Chile, Mexico, Suriname, Uruguay, Paraguay, Nicaragua, Panama, Colombia, Bolivia, the Dominican Republic, Guyana, Ecuador, Jamaica and Haiti.
There are no bounds to the Turkish Islamic crusade in the world today and it is time that London, Washington and Europe awaken to this threat. If NATO is a defence of the Christian West there is no place for Turkey within that alliance.
